Also, warning: Afaik, I have finally arrived at my conclusion that, if you add too much Humbrol clear, the gloss coat will start to crack. I think it should be safer with a single (!) thin layer (airbrushed once not twice). Or possibly several thin layers that have long drying times.

I have also noticed, that if I have already a smooth surface after airbrushing on Vallejo primer (sifting the primer paint with a tea thingy to avoid clogging), the gloss coat lays on very nicely even if very thin, but ofc one doesn't get the piano laquer look that way. Unsure if this thin layer is enough for adding decals, as I usually add even more gloss coat liquid with the airbrush. Next time I will experiment and try add as little as possible, with a single layer of thin gloss coat with Humbrol Clear.

So in some kind of a time/space loop, you photographed your model in front of some buildings and then used the photograph as a template for the model?😉

oh my....it's really awesome. Very impressive work. I was especially impressed by the fans in the cockpit, without them not a single Soviet plane could take off =)
