Sorry Guys, looks like the re-pop has been cancelled. Have seen lots of people have reported their pre-orders have been cancelled (like mine has)

Been unable to find any office notice from airfix however have marked this one as cancelled. Original issue has been left is so those that think they have this in their stashes, may wish to make the change over.

One thing for sure, prices will go up.
5. May, 14:38

Definitely. When I had looked previously the high end on ebay was $70, now the only one listed is $115 + $21 shipping. I think I'll just wait and watch for now. I have plenty of other kits to build :)

Hey, Augie do you have a decal sheet with these schemes or is markings you will have to make yourself. I have a whole "pride" of cats and I like some of those color schemes. Would be a welcome change from the standard grey.

Hey Clifford, no sheet, would be a case of raiding the ole spares.

Chris Parsons
Hey Augie very nicely done! How was the build? I've got the Hawkeye 2000 in the stash I keep wanting to get a start on, seeing yours makes me think I should give it a go. I'm thinking it'll need a little weight up front to stay on its wheels.
20. April, 03:54
Augie
Thanks Nathan :)

Chris, Its a dog.. sorry to say its one of kinetics earlier moulds so just about everything needs dry fitting.
The undercarriage is over engineered so is actually a nightmare to get together.

As for weight, mine ended up with 150g right behind to cockpit to get her to sit right and no on her arse.

dont let it put you off tho, it is worth it as its an eye catcher even in default markings.
20. April, 08:20
Humpty Hays
Augie - I think it's great to see a woman in the hobby. I've tried talking my 14 yo daughter into it. She might start building cars. Great work on the Hawkeye.

1 5 0 g???!!! Yikes!

Looks great! Augie. Well done!
20. April, 17:34
Augie
Thanks Steve :)

Roland, yeah, its heading that way.. it was put in the pile of shame in quite advanced stage.

Maciej, Yeah 150g, she's got a really fat arse and the UFO over the top really does not help.

20. April, 18:10
Michael Phillips
Beautiful Hawkeye Augie! That is a very attractive scheme as well. Well done!
