Watching with interest!
Thx lukasz & Robert. this one as 8 part numbers and seems to be a quick build - but as most of the time: the devil is in the details. The rigging seems to be quite challenging....
A little up-date today - rigging is coming closer.
I recently built this glider in a 1:48 scale. That's why I know how small and subtle the model is. There are a lot of ropes on this glider. I wish you a firm hand and a lot of patience in its production.
Thx Ludvik !

Watching this one as well 😉
Hi Robert - same story with this one as with the Sg38. Not many parts but still a tricky job. This one as a "Cockpit cabin" where I played alot (hours 🙂) with the wood effect... I hope it was worth it at the end...let's see.
thx for you interest.
Looks perfect, Juergen, absolutely. Rigging is exactly what I find beyond my patience (if not my skills) for the moment - but in case of these gliders rigging adds the final interest. Keep up good work, surely it is worth the effort 🙂
Taking a seat...
Welcome Alex and Skywalker. Here is a little up-date. Wires for the aileron movement are installed. I made some progress on the "cabin" too.

Count me in 🙂
Welcome Roland - there ist still time to go for some Nachos or a vist at the rest rooms....I need some more time upfront before I can start. But I excited to put it on the work bench soon.
so do I !!
Can't skip it 👍
Following 😉. I've got a HH-60H Rescue Hawk in the stash, so maybe some ideas for that build.
Hi everyone & thx for your interest.

Incredible work done so far - truly remarkable dedication and effort that you put into this near tabula rasa of a kit! Very much looking forward to the finish! 👍👍👍
awesome! Have a weak spot for these transports 👍
Thx you all for your kind comments.
Close to ready I see. So thrilling 😄

Greg, I use the bookmarks feature in my browser, you can create a folder of just scalemates stuff.
i like !
This is very nice 👍
Bookmarks?! How retro! 😉
Good idea though.
Have fun with the SA Gazelle kit Greg - keep us posted when you start it up !!!

Cool rarity 👍
Love that Viper scheme
This are quite old pictures from an rather old build. First time home made decals and the upper wing paint is made with airbrush. I was quit happy at that time with the result - guess this is 12years+.
I updated the album due to the fact that I added the 30 & 35 year in service liverys to my model collection just recendly,... albums of those will follow.
Finally some pic's on this long lasting build. Credits to Roland. thx. I hope you like it.
Great job on that soapy piece of sprues 👍
What an airplane, and what a bag of plastic. Great job 👍
Yes, great work with this challenging kit!
Fantastic. Another one that waits in my stash for its time🙂 I am glad to see that it is possible to assemble the model symmetrically😄
thx mark- it really is a tricky kit to build.
Thx Robert - your comment made me smile,....🙂)
😄 (Few years ago I wrestled with Mach 2 "Coleoptere"...it was finished but not to be shown to public...)
Good job with this Leduc 😄 Mach 2 -kit must be experienced someday. They have these interesting rare topics.
thx S M

Nice work with the difficult resin kit. Your new canopy is fine too.
Good idea to replace the old canopy.
Yes, you are right -finally I was happy that I made this decision to replace it. The resin kit is quite good, with lots of details and only less air inclusions/sink marks. It took me 7-8 trials to come to a result like this - as I do not have any "vaccu" devices (I did a kind of press mold) I decided the actual canopy is "good enough".
I think it's a quite good result, especially for the first time.
And a very useful skill. Congratulations.
Bird waiting for the decals now,...
Lovely work, and nice to see the Austrian insignia!
Thx - I'm happy you like it! cheers

And finaly - The PC7 with the livery of being 35 years in service at Austrian Airforces. Not that colourful and due to the "camo" approach I decided to do an armed model. Gun pod & rocket launcher are scratched as I did not find 1/72 aftermarket products that would fit.
Very realistic !
Thx Oliver - ...
@Stefan Fraundorfer - see pic. 5 - so following our conversation that time furture/clear is banned out of my stash too, after all that cracks in combination with Gunze colours appeared.

So here is my second "viper" livery photo album. An rather old resin kit underneath but perfect top notch decals on top. Thanks to BrentAir Decals for giving support (I had some issues with position and my paint edges).
I hope you like this colourful bird too.
Album "35 years" coming soon...and yes,...Austria airforces seems to fly their equipment until the last bold is gone,....
Nice and rare little bird.

Cool! It will be nice to see some Beavers!
Nice, wish I could get one and join 🙁
@ Lukasz - My stash is empty (of beavers) too - otherwise I would share
@AlexK - I'm curious if some others out there will join. Would be cool - I like those planes

A mishap - I have to reconsider how to proceed now. TheGold of the decal didn't entirely cover the orange layer.
Great job on the masking of the blue! Not any easy looking job, either.
Wow, great progress on the blue one, looks lovely
Thx, Gordon & Lukasz - I was a bit wary and unconfident on how to fix that issue for the last couple of weeks. But - nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm lucky that this LH side went quite ok. Tackling the other one asap.
So as the Me 262 group build had a higher priority this bird had to wait,.... but not too much was remaining, so therefore I can call this douple build "completed" now. Some pics of those 2 and as a quardruple with 2 older builds will follow asap. cheers
