Oh my God Kerry, that is freaking AWESOME! I just went through the album four times, and, will go through it four more! Did you do that for a comp? Just sensational!!!!!!!

Hi guys. 🙂
I ended up feeling pretty happy with my effort, and as I had a couple of other kits of bikes I had built, I thought, 'Why not', and I got gold with all three. !!! Those being the Honda RC116 six cylinder I did all I could to with copper wire replicating all the 'tie ends' on all parts that usually fell of in a race unless they were wired in place, sitting on a 'work bench'. And a 'see through' NSR 500 with the pipes under the riders chest and the fuel tank slung on metal straps under the motor to lower the centre of gravity.
I can post them if you like. 🙂
I am. MOST grateful for you compliments and appreciation. Many thanks. 👍

if you finished, i would love to see them 🙂
i am specially interested in the "tie ends" actually 🙂

Another fine piece of work Kerry!

Timothy. I am pleased you like it mate. But I tell you what. I am really impressed with your "Tamiya Figures" scalemates.com/profi..bums&album=35498 thinking that your work is part of a "Red Ball" convoy, heading for the front. 🙂

This is so good!!! Im a much bigger motorcyclist than modeler, and I honestly was more interested in going through this album analyzing every picture than I was when the Panigale press shots came out. Excellent work

Ho hum... another masterpiece from Kerry... so what else is new... 😛

Love to see the Honda six Kerry. I am squirrelling some pennies away for one as we speak. I had forgotten that the NR500 had the low CofG experiment. Honda had (here he goes with the trivia drivel again) reassigned some formula 1engineers to the bike development and they decided that if it works in formula 1 then it would be good for everything. Of course all you bike riders out there know that a perfect handling bike needs it's weight in the centre of it's vertical and longitudinal geometry to handle well. So the NR handled like a pig!

Konrad would like to see Daisy Duke on the Ducati, in the shorts!

The LCOG is why the BMW's are so good as a touring machine. All piston movement torque is dissipated sideways , and that huge fly wheel and wheels gyro effect helps with long curve cornering.

I am tickled pink with all the positive comments guys. It sure is fun having so many mates that like what you do. 🙂 👍

Greg Baker
Well, I for one have yet to be convinced that you are not in fact simply a well-heeled inventor of a "Honey I Shrunk the Kits" ray with an extensive garage full of collector-grade cars and bikes that has some perverse need to troll those of us who work with plastic to realise our delusions of grandeur...
7 March 2018, 22:36
Tim Heimer
It's amazing all the tech that goes into things now! all the little details do add up to something. Kerry, I'm not sure when I'll get back to my convoy Dio, I've been smitten by 1/16th cars lately. Not to mention putting Daisy under the bonnet of the General Lee! Pics to come shortly, mainly for that other mate that lives near you! LOL
7 March 2018, 22:40
Greg Baker
You'll notice how Kerry's pics never seem to show any glue...
7 March 2018, 22:40
Peter Hardy
He doesn't use the stuff Greg. He rubs the parts until they are warm and pliable and then uses a mind meld with the parts to bond them. That's my theory anyway. Until he proves me wrong I reckon he's cheating!! On the other hand, your "Honey I shrunk the kids ray" theory has merit!
8 March 2018, 00:46
Kerry COX
WOW. LOL. What can I say. You got me, and I have to confess. 🙂
I pre order the kits that have the glue already applied and I just lick the areas when ready and. BINGO. All done.
In truth, I use a liquid cement that all railroad modellers use that dries in seconds and bonds like steel, and, it's 'clean'.
8 March 2018, 05:39
Greg Baker
So... licking the glue is the secret... I'll try that and see how it goes...😎
8 March 2018, 06:58
Peter Hardy
Thanks Kerry! I now have a drawer full of redundant glue!
8 March 2018, 08:20
Tim Heimer
I'm sure Kerry is laughing now waiting to see how many window lickers try his glue theory!
8 March 2018, 12:46
Kerry COX
LOL. I was sniffing it before then, and wow, didn't my builds look good, like looking through a thin slice of onion. hahahahaha 🙂 🙂 🙂
8 March 2018, 12:56
Kerry COX
But strangely enough. The clear water soluble paper glue I use on my clear parts I have licked to remove any excess, only because cotton tips leave fluff behind that makes the join really look bad. 🙂 👍
8 March 2018, 12:59
Tim Heimer
So what you're saying is that glue licking does lead to window licking? LOL
8 March 2018, 13:14
Kerry COX
Tim. 🙂 In a word. YES. LOL I must look the strangest person holding a model up to my mouth licking away bits of squeezed excess glue. hahahahahaha. "Quick fellas, lock him up for his own sanity." hehehehe 🙂
8 March 2018, 18:12
Tim Heimer
LOL! hey Fred was he licking that or kissing it? LOL
8 March 2018, 20:29
Kerry COX
A bit of both me thinks. 🙂 👍
8 March 2018, 20:50
Peter Hardy
I worry about you two!
8 March 2018, 20:51
Kerry COX
LOL. All is good, (I think.!) hehehehe 🙂
8 March 2018, 21:11
Greg Baker
If I built models lile Kerry, I'd kiss them too...
8 March 2018, 23:11
Peter Hardy
I have a few things running around in my head but, I will leave them ALL alone!

Kerry COX
I will not charge you a finders fee then if you like Peter. 🙂 please. !! ?
9 March 2018, 03:43
Peter Hardy
I'm not paying for him! He does nothing but torment me!
9 March 2018, 03:46
Peter Hardy
Kerry, do you use armor all on the tyres or something else?
9 March 2018, 03:54
Kerry COX
Peter. No Armourall' used on tyres or any other part mate. They have actually been cleand off with acetone to remove that shiny film of separation agent from when they were moulded.
Why. ?
Do they look different from what road tyres look like before being used on the roads. ? Mmmmmmm :-/
9 March 2018, 06:28
Peter Hardy
Hey no land mines here Mate! I've not built a bike before and why reinvent the wheel? If Kerry knows, then Kerry might give up the secret! Acetone eh? I'll have to see what I can find in this little country town.
9 March 2018, 09:08
Kerry COX
Peter. Finger nail polish remover is exactly the same shit mate. 👍 🙂
9 March 2018, 09:58

Struth! Now I am nervous. Just got your PM. I will reply later today. The Woman Who MUST Be Obeyed is thumping at the door of the toilet. Reckons she isn't going to wait for the fallen tree to break down over millenia and I have to go to the dump.
9 March 2018, 23:16

Happy days. hehehe But I still have the kids drop in from time to time saying 'Dad, Is this all you do all day.?' and I proudly say, knoath. 🙂 🙂
9 March 2018, 23:25

10 March 2018, 08:12

10 March 2018, 08:51
Spanjaard
i left the continent because i had something else better to do 😄 😄
10 March 2018, 10:17
