Great wip. Like the step by step description. The paintjob is awesome!
Your system is easy to follow with no 'riddles' in between each step. Most helpful and the tips are most welcome. A wonderful result. ! 👍 🙂
Wow, some great info here, Alex! And the results speak for themselves so far!
Thx guys. I will let the paint cure for two weeks and I am conveniently off on a two week vacation. So, to be continued!
Uuuuh vacation! Me wanting too!
Have a nice Holliday!

Love you work and dedication to the project. Nice ideas and it'll be a sight when it's done. I'm late to the show but now I'm here following the home stretch!
Excelent paint job.
Thx mates. Urban, you are far from late to the show. The project is still in progress! Still waiting for a parcel from Mother Russia with figures for the dio.
Either way I'm here now and enjoying it fully!
Грандиозный проект, смотрю с восхищением.

@Lukasz: "Camo", did I already mention that I like your irony? 😛
@Thomas: Gruezi, you're welcome 🙂
@Slavo: the stripes might have come in handy a bit later 😄
Wow, that really took off. A real pleasure to see that a project of yours which you never found to be absolutely anything special is met with so much approval. Many thanks @all!
Like it ,,, good work
Very nice work.

Very good! Looked through your wip too.
Thx guys, an old project but still very dear to my heart!
I still like the colour. Tamiya Camel Yellow?
Hey Martin, I used automotive lacquer from the brand "Lechler" (same one Zero Paints is getting their paints from to my knowledge) and a 2K clearcoat. There is a WIP album for this build where I describe the painting process in more detail: Porsche 964 RS 3.8 WIP | Album by Alex G. (1:24)
But you are right, it looks similar to TS-34 Camel Yellow.
Nice work mate! This Kit is on my to do List as well so i have read your wip very closely. One question: how did you replace the rear window? (Kit Part can Not be used because of hole for wiper wich is not present on the actual car).
Thx Dennis. The rear window is from my sparebox, but I can't tell you whcih kit it came from. Might have been another Porsche kit but I do not know for sure. It's not perfect, but better than the kit part with the hole.
Thanks! Seems to fit very well. I was thinking about using some thin clear sheet...
Yep, clear sheet would work too. I used some for all the side windows
