The figure looks really nice. His hand fits really well on the hatch too; no floating bits. 🙂
I cannot see the smoke from the cigar. Should I change my glasses ?
Olivier: its coming 😉
Very very nice! Chapeaux! Wis en waarachtig💪🏼

Nice and clean workplace 👍!
Great looking area! Where do you do your airbrushing?
@Ken: in the garage, i have set up a little corner there for airbrush only. The Paints I store in my hobbyroom.
Thats a nice Place to be 👍
pappa deserves a place like that 👍
I like the term in the title - 'Some' Hobbyzone stuff. Jeez you could be their poster child for their product 😛
Thanks Robbie, I bough it over several years😉

Question: Can i varnish X-22 from Tamiya over Alclad polished aluminium so I dont loose the shine of the polished aluminium?
i have used Future on top of Alclad metals without any issue. I doubt there will be any trouble, with X-22.
For sure, the shine will not be the same than without any varnish. but it still looks good to me.
The best anyway, is to try in some old test model, to see if you like it.
Thanks Spanjaard, I will test it on a old model.
make some coments later, info may be useful to others 🙂
I am no expert, but I think any layer on top, will change the look somewhat. having said that I have no personal experience in doing that, just something I've read a few times.
Done it with Tamiya X 22. After drying of the varnish ( several thin 5-6 layers) the shine was more or less ok!
good to know! thanks

Finished, comments are welcome.
Nice idea and very good implementation with great attention for details! Die Propagandakompanie dreht hier sicher sehr eindrucksvolle Bilder. In the German "Wochenschau" the war seemed to be won/winnable until the end of 1944.
Top work Kim!

Decals placed, next is the pinwash.
Finished, hope you like it guys.
Very nicely done mate 👍
Thank you guys.
Hard to believe it's the old Heller. What did you use to highlight the panel lines?
@ Lukasz: Thank you, the preshading with black before applying the 3 color pattern, highlighting the 3 color pattern ( basecolors with white and yellow depending witch color ). After that AK nato wash applied several times with a very fine brush. Protected with varnish between the layers.
Thanks, sounds simple, but the effect suggested something much more complicated 👍
