Fly By Jan In my experience, quite the gamble - might make it work, but it is likely to leave 'heat' marks on the part of the canopy close to the glue. I use PVA glue as it has many good purposes in this application - it glues the parts, you can put a generous amount so it fills the gaps between the canopy and the fuselage, you can wipe off any leftover glue right after you glue the two parts together with a napkin and most importantly - when it dries it goes transparent. Therefore, I find it an optimal solution for clear parts of any sort. I personally use Bison, but any quality PVA glue does the job great!
