How was the fit of the aires cockpit? I love their details, but you have to sand like crazy most of the times
Thanks a lot Gustave and Spanjaard 👍🏻!
@Spanjaard: Yep it was a sanding Party 😉.
But at the end the fit was ok and the details are awesome especially in 1:72!
Oh yeah! Very nice mate 👍
thanks Konrad.... I have the Aires cockpit for the same F-14 😉

Came out really nice! I guess the ground crew would be proud about such a nice clean Tornado and so can be the responsible modeler! 🙂 👍
The more it slides into the past, the more I seem to like this "Last of the Mohicans" of classic warbird shapes in the skies...
Thank you very much Slavo?. I like this bird very much the model and the real one.
And a second one will follow soon hopefully. Everything is waiting in my the stash ?.
Thanks a lot Jos?
Thanks a lot for all the likers ?

With the AGM-65's how did you get the join between the main part and back part of the missile parallel and perfectly lined up?
Those AGMs from Eduard are really nice to build and as far as I know there is a joining Part were you can fit both parts perfectly together.
Hope this will help 😉!

Thank you very much🙂!
Looks quite menacing already, really looking forward to the splinter camo - I really like the colors on the F-16 on pic 2, assuming you'll do this scheme. 👍
Splinter Camo is not that hard, did it on my third kit with an airbrush as well and it looks quite nice. Just takes some time making and putting on all the masking tape. Just be careful to mask everything that is not going to be painted or be very careful with the airbrush - or else you will end with overspray and your, lets just say green parts will have some ugly looking tan or black spots in this case (happened to me with the aforementioned build). Just something to keep in mind. But anything angular is quite easy to achieve with masking tape.
Thanks Alexander for your support on this.
Yes I will go for exactly the same camo as shown on pic 2🙂.
Tomorrow my new masking sheets arrive so I will draw the camo and cut it to get nearly the same result as on the normal F16 (hopefully?).
One question I start with the green colour first the sand and the last one black?
Should I preshade the whole thing in advance? I'm not sure. I think to go for weathering afterwards should be ok too...
In my opinion, preshading is useless when doing more than a two-tone paintjob, and even then it is not advisable, as with adjusting three different colours and such all the preshading gets invisible very fast anywas. Thus post-shading is better, imo.
Thanks Alexander yes thats also my opinion. So I will go for the post shading on this one🙂!

The next one is ready for presentation #3 and the second in a row. So tried a view new things on the base. I`m really happy with that one. Anyhow looking forward to your feedbacks.
Lovely painted 👍 Nice concrete!
Thanks Roland 🙂! Yeah the concrete to be honest was more luck than painting skills 😉. I used the concrete gray from hataka colours and it was not to bad at the end.
Nice work 👍

After nearly one year of modelling absence I tried a view projects to start up again. And I thought ok we beginn with figure modelling again 😉.
It is my second one in this What if Special forces project. The camos are not specific to any real uniform, it is more to find out new techniques experiment with colours and paint brush.
Will see what comes up next. I think the 3rd one. 😉
Looks great 👍
Welcome back to the workbench😉
Now I belive I found my mojo and this year will be more productive than last year. Last year I`ve done not a single project 🙁.
So now I have a lot to do 😉
Yeah, the last year has been pretty strange in many ways. I think your project to improve the quota should be possible! 😄
Yes I think it looks really promising for me 🙂!
Thank you to all likes🙂!
it looks pretty good. great that you are back in the bench (i am trying to the same myself...)
Thanks Spanjaard 🙂!
Yes it is Not always easy to find the motivation especially in this crazy times.
But as I see here on Scalemates, there are so many of great modelers, which are sharing the same passion. And there are more and more 😉!
I like this and I hope that I can bring up some more here in the near future!

Yes. I totaly agree with u!!!
Therefore he only sold me the patch with a promise ( from me to him ).
Fotos wäre in: What else is going on. Drinnen ????
Great finish, looks awsome on display.
Thanks a lot David! 🙂
