Blaubar How is the fit of the ship? It is looking just great.
15. December 2016, 07:03
Sven Schönyan Very mice model
15. December 2016, 07:52
Bart Goesaert looks very good, also the weathering... subtle, not to much, very good... More detailed pictures are more than welcome ;)

Stefan Schacht very nice!

Lex Jassies Sangat bagus Danumurthi! Like the overal looks and the weathering. I would also like to see some detail pictures.

Danumurthi Mahendra thanks guys, Lex and Bart just added some more detail close up shots. hope you like them

Danumurthi Mahendra @Blaubar - fit was mediocre the most. lost of sanding and dry fitting. Sprue gates were thick at the most and need careful when cutting them off.

Danumurthi Mahendra @Lex Jassies - Terimakasih, kawan!

Łukasz Gliński Very nice build, the shading is my fav part of it (it makes the kit much more realistic)
15. December 2016, 12:59
Blaubar okay, so it seems that all their larger part kits are ###. Was just curious if they manage to have anything without massive ejector marks, bad fitting and not much grate and misalignment.

Danumurthi Mahendra Plenty of that @Blaubar here. amazing. I think a lot of time I lost my mojo. because its just excessive clean-up. bits of putty here and there. drives me nuts. it was hard to look at it and go back to work.
15. December 2016, 13:49
Bart Goesaert too bad of that, but it's a beautiful ship... wanted to use this one to practice building ships
15. December 2016, 13:56
Blaubar Agreed Dan, I have come up with the magic Trumpeter formulas: 1/2T(workhours)=S(scratching) 2/5T=C(cleaning and filing hours)^^ I am impressed how you managed to keep the mojo up. The kits could be so awesome if just a bit more attenion would be paid.

gorbygould Wow! Excellent model.
15. December 2016, 16:33
Danumurthi Mahendra @Blaubar LoL on the formula. I only wish I had donned this 110%. I have only added generic PE railings. If I had opted a complete set with rigging and whip antennas, it might look a lot different.

MRMLA Looks very, very well!

C. B. Outstanding work :)

Spanjaard I missed this one back in the day. Nice job. You are certainly a multidisciplinary builder....and do great on all of them
17. June 2019, 19:19
Neuling I fully agree with Spanjaard!
17. June 2019, 19:51
Danumurthi Mahendra Much thanks, @C.B., @Spanjaard, and @Neuling! I try to mix it up a bit to keep me motivated.

Treehugger I have a similar kit to be built. I wonder if it might be possible to place some transparent sheet of plastic at the bridge windows, or if the windows then becomes too deep. I can't imagine working with individual window sheets, but instead using a large foil for all the window surfaces.
27. June 2019, 05:07
Chris Greathouse I'm on the missed out before boat too... Great work! The weathering is wonderful!
27. June 2019, 05:10
Holger Kranich Hi Danumurthi, now Comes something different from you but again beautiful executed.
27. June 2019, 06:35
Danumurthi Mahendra Thanks @Chris Greathouse and @Holger Kranich! @Treehugger - yes very possible with thin transparent plastic sheets that you can buy at office supply stores.
27. June 2019, 14:41
Gerald Willing Very nice result
28. June 2019, 08:02
Danumurthi Mahendra Thanks @Gerald Willing. I wish there were more rigging to it.
3. July 2019, 12:23

3. July 2019, 12:38
Mike Grant Looks great!
3. July 2019, 13:27
Danumurthi Mahendra Thanks @Tim and @Mike!
28. September 2019, 17:37
Treehugger A really nice display piece I think. :)
28. September 2019, 19:24
Danumurthi Mahendra Thanks much @Treehugger
29. September 2019, 04:56
Benoit Mathier Very nice one Monti. You're a true "allrounder".
Boats, Tanks, Planes. And you master all of them.
29. September 2019, 06:31
