Wow, great build and finish ????
Amazing job ! May i ask what size of Uschi Van Der Rosten do you use for 1/72 ?
@Pierre Thanks for the comment. This is an older build and was rigged using fishing line, but now I use the UVDR elasticated thread. For rigging 1/72 biplanes I use the 'Fine' weight.
I can recall building this kit when I was 12 or 13. When I see what you achieved with yours I measure the gap, no, the ocean. Still I enjoyed this first era of kit modelling a lot.
I have the Heller version of this kit sitting on my shelf. If I could get mine to come out half as good as yours I would be super happy. You have done an amazing job on all of your builds.
Hi Mike, would it be possible to upload pictures of this kit? It looks really good! I would like to use it as a reference to my build. I remember that you uploaded it on the Airfix forum for the 24h group build, but the photobucket pics aren't visible anymore. Thank you.
Yes, we definitely need more of them 🙂
Found it on your blog with working pics 🙂
Impressive result !
Very good work ,,,,, specially taking into account is a WB kit.
C'est magnifique, you continue to be an inspiration my friend.
Just thinking of getting this kit. Mike, this is another amazing build. Thanks for sharing.
One more mastepiece! Beautiful and interesting, bravo.
Thanks again guys 👍

Thanks everybody for all the valuable information on painting. I'm surely going to try out Tamiya on a future project and see what kind of results I can achieve with it. But I will need a gas mask because I'm asthmatic and strangely, the fumes of White Spirit don't effect me as much as other fumes do. But I will try it out in a well ventilated place.
Wow, I thought it was 1/48 scale. Really impressive. Well done.
Ok, that you got this crap kit to look like that blows my mind. Top notch work!

Beautiful build! Not a single detail that said this is not 1/48 or even 1/32. Amazing.
Fantastic job, hard to believe this is 1/72 scale when looking on the riggings.
I agree with Daniel!
not really 1/72 is it,really.
