Count me in. Great work and details so far
That is just incredible. The level of effort and detailing. Just WOW
Really Nice detail work. 👍 I'm in 😎
„Not completely satisfied with the engine……" I had to look twice to distinguish it from a real one ( pic 17). Outstanding !
Hanno, it's several years ago that I painted the engine en just yesterday I posted the pictures. With my knowledge of today (oil paint rendering), and the pictures from other builders, I would have taken more time and effort in painting the engine.
But thank you all for the compliments 🙂
Nice additions, Lex. I recently added a book I bought about the Scammell (I will be towing a Valentine I think), what do you use as reference?
I used mainly the Internet.
There are of course the walk-arounds and also the sites with restorations give a lot of information and details.
On Youtube you can take a look at the link below what tells you how the winch system works and give you even more details. There are 3 more in this serie about this subject.
A pity that it is an allied vehicle ... It looks great work ... very English, very beautiful, very good work

Superb work, great results on interesting subjects in small scale!!! 👍 👍
Great work 👍
this is impressive work!
I this would be impressive in 1/35. In 172, simply amazing, an I am out of superlatives to push it to 1/87!!!

what a fantastic cockpit. curious to see the rest now 🙂
What Marking are you gonna choose. I am working on a 5017 currently.
Thanks Spanjaard. First I will finish some small projects.
Lars, It's very tempting to finish it in 5040 like the drawing shown. But it's surely not the easiest camouflage to do.

I like the build as pick up. Your engine compartment looks great with all the lines and pipes. The weathering is quite right on my point of view. Not to much, not to less
I'm looking forward to see some process 🙂
Lex, I've been around for a couple years now
and have never seen this kit before.
Never see it first hand, never come up in
as a eb suggestion. How about that?
I'm with Christian, super weathering.
Watching this one too. Excellent
Peppy, I think that this kit was out for a periode of a few years. Didn't now about it's existence till I bumped accidentally into it. Immediately bought it. I had to make a few chances to let it look like my Landrover. Covering the roof lights and chancing the side windows (picture 11). And made a diesel engine from the petrol engine. I really like to scratschbuild a Mechanical Fairey winch, wich my Landrover had, but find this quite difficult.
Loaded up some pictures of my Landrover (1985/86)
Christian; you made nice progress with your LR. Nice color you choose 👍
In photo 2, with the white birch and the pine trees
could easily be my backyard in Northeast Pennsylvania,
I kid you not.
Thanks, Lex! You added some cool pictures from the past 😮k:
Your built looks great - clicked me through the pics again 🙂
must had to be a great time in travelling with it. thats cool. like the overall weathering and the engine details - well done!
Time to post my built Land Rover...
wow, it looks excellent
