This is another on/off again build. She went with us on vacation to France. I did some work on the wheels, barrel and Friul tracks there. Back home, some other stuff got priority. Last night I was ordered not to go up to my hobby room by the mrs.... So I took this girl downstairs for some work on the turret.

In other news, I added various bits and pieces to the upper and lower hull, glued the turret and some bits. Progress!

I added some more grey shading. Dark grey and light grey. White highlights added later. Finished with olive drab all over

Martin OostromI found the olive drab a bit too heavy handed to really show the preshading. Lesson learned. To cover up my mistake, I pulled a bottle of washable white paint out of the stash, did some research on Google and started cracking.
Dare I say we are getting closer?

Martin OostromJD, it really is nice to build. The small improvements make a real difference. In hindsight I should have gone for a replacement barrel for the 50 cal as well. The plastic one is already bent.
