Sam STop-coated with a mix of 2 parts XF-59 (Desert Yellow) and 1 part XF-57 (Buff). The outcome is pretty close to the Desert Storm color I was seeking.
Masking and painting the nose tomorrow followed by some gloss and decals.

TreehuggerBtw, I blow air out the window, and now it is about -10 deg C, about to get -22 C in a day or two, but I have a 'bubble wrap' plastic roll I use to cover the opening around the window while the spraybooth is blowing air out the open window.

Sam S@Spanjaard, I saw your 90's M113 diorama 👍🏻 I think I built the same in the late 80's. Was a really good trip down the memory lane to build it properly 🙂
The Fruils are just pending to be put together at the right lenght, will anyway beat the stock tracks by a mile.

Sam SWent a bit over board with the weathering, looks more like a badly held Soviet plane… Might still do a bit of clean up before matt varnish.

Sam SVarnished and pending stand/base. Not fully happy with the outcome, the surface is far from good and close ups show how bad it is. Lucky it is a 1:144 and from 30cm away ot looks fairly ok.

Sam SThanks @Jan, sometimes the old version with some minor upgrades is better then the new 🙂 Taking the cost into account this way is far more expensive 😂
