Looks like you have busy again. Let me find a chair for this one, the engine compartment looks amazing.

It's coming up clear now ... nearly there, most important is not to crack the plastic... clear is very brittle.
Nice interesting project again Lorraine, engines look great.. " Doesn't look like the safest cockpit for pilots ๐ซฃ๐"
Good luck ๐บ ๐ค

Thank you Cristian and Mr D. The pilot may need a high-quality helmet๐

Hi Lorraine, where did you get that polishing tool from? last time I manually polished a canopy I got old in the process ๐
8 April, 14:58

Cristian, I started with 800-grit sanding, and then TAMIYA compound. The electric polisher was actually bought from a nail salon๐ the final magic is Pledge.

Thanks for the details, Tamiya compound works wonders. Looks like I need to start visiting a nail salon so I can get modeling tools 😄

Have you ever tried Pledge floor care finish? Soak the canopy into Pledge for few seconds, take it out and let it dry, the effect is very great.

Have not tried Pledge floor care finish but I heard about it being good before, I will add it to my shopping list. Thanks for the tip ๐
Previously, I used the standard window cleaner solution with a cotton bud to remove the excess and gummy residue left behind by the liquid mask, and it worked really well.

The pledge future is not easy to get now....there is an alternative now in a green n white bottle. Acrylic floor shine.

I've never liked building airplanes, even though I used to build them as a child. But this one? Yeah, that really inspires me! Maybe I'll build it one day? Thanks for the great pictures and the inspiration!

Liane Lonesome, Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you like it.
I started building aircraft with full interior details last year, and I'm totally hooked! I just added Zoukei-Mura's P-51 and GWH P-40B to my ever-growing stash - really excited to start them.
Happy building, and thanks again for the encouragement!

Your wood grain effects came out very nice. Painting remains better than a decal.

Wow!!! incredibly realistic wood effect ๐คฉ and the rest is as impeccable as usual ๐ซก

@Lorraine Lin do you have a youtube channel showing your work and build? That would be super interesting to see ๐
1 5 May, 18:49

Thank you guys!
Actually, I tried different methods like PE mask, decals, and colored pencils to create wood grain effect. Just when I was about to give up and wash off the paint, I accidentally discovered that the paint being brushed off was exactly the effect I wanted.
@Cristian A, sorry I don't have Youtube channel. I will take some more pictures to show how I it works.

The wood Effect is very ๐๐ Good, Good technique now you have discovered it.
You will have to build a plywood fuselage Albatross now ๐คฃ.
Looking great ๐๐
