Thanks, Mates! That's why I decided to buy the kit(s) and paint it in this (anti-)camo 😉
Maybe it is more protected in a group or swarm, like a zebra.
Were it not used in fact in Morocco, one could think that it is a winter camo from Siberia or Canada...;)
I first thought it was a new way of pre-shading ....

A short-run it is...
Welcome, Cuajete 🙂
Thank you, John. We'll see when I manage to finish it...

I will be eager to see how this build progresses - I am waiting for one of these to arrive here. 🚀
As you wish - surely, it is better to know its vices beforehand.
Hi Mark, I have uploaded few WIP photos into the separate album, take a look at them if you wish.
Thanks very much for bringing this to my attention. I admire your techniques for ameliorating the kit's deficiencies!
You are welcome Mark. You're too kind to me...thank you.

Looks great, how was the kit? I'm assuming challenging...
Interesting and unusual model. Well done.
Thanks a lot, Ben. Not that bad - a lot of cleaning, but the fit of parts was surprisingly good and slow setting CA glue helped much when assembling the framework. Of course these long rods are prone to break (as it can be seen here and there in my model...)
Thank you very much Cuajete🙂
Thanks for all these likes. Frankly, I am much surprised...

Nice little guy!
Very cool 👍
Most attractive - the subtle weathering is admirable.
The tracks look brilliant
Thanks Al Berto🙂
Thanks for all these likes, mates🙂

Nice! Now you will have to put it into a devastated nuclear winter dio!
Oh WOW, this Dio I would like to see too.
Thanks for the suggestion😢 Now, when I have some experience with the kit and know its vices, some day I will locate the other kit that left in the box - this time with shorter barrel and tracks in "flat" assembly - into such a scenery😢
Impressive, though menacing. Did you really build it in a day?
Thanks Mark - no, it would be absolutely impossible to build in a day... I just uploaded photos of the finished model. (Only assembly of tracks took me four separate sessions...)

I take my hat off to you. Very good!
You're too kind to me. Thank you🙂
The subjects (especially the 1910s aircraft) reminded me of the work of Gabriel Stern - I think congrats are in order! 👍 👍
Well done and rare topics 👍 I deeply admire scratchbuilding
Thank you S M - this is pure fun, indeed. I have more projects in mind, but there is not enough time...as always.
What nightmare gave you the idea for the "Helicopter Starfighter" 😄
Great work, very creative 👍
@Alexander: As far as I know it was the concept of test pilot Pete Girard adapted to F-104. Here are further infos:
Thanks for your kind words🙂
Thanks for your likes, mates. I am very much surprised.

intriguing little selection of very interesting pieces of aviation history, I like it
Very good display of nicely built models (I am still to build my Rotachute and Fa 330 in my stash) - inspiration for me perhaps? 👍
Thanks Alex and Derek. Just do it Derek🙂

That Iskra is very tiny, especially in front of that 27. Great pics Robert!
And Suchoj is simply a heavy (i.e. huge) fighter plane. Nevertheless, these really look like "Maluch" (Fiat 126p) next to ZiL "Chaika"...🙂 Thank you Maciej - I simply have presumed that the photos actual "digital" camouflages might be helpful.
