Choppa Nutta
I wonder how you might paint the interior ?
interesting model though 🙂
2 August 2015, 17:02
Mike Kryza
Hi Choppa - I build the fully interior, ok. 🙂 but here is no need for me in painting these parts. After finishing the model you see nothing. And it saves time, saves colour and saves !!money!! -- 😉
2 August 2015, 17:09
Choppa Nutta
fair enough 🙂
looked like a cool interior though 🙂

Christian Meyerhoff
Great start Mike! I will follow this one for sure! Is there an option to display all the hatches in open position, or do you have to cut them out ?
2 August 2015, 17:57
Mike Kryza
Yes Choppa, it seems that the interior is nearly complete. Only some cables etc. on the engine...
Christian, my friend, you're welcome too. 🙂 - You can build all hatches and doors in an open position. You only have to rework the hinges. No problem for you... 😉

Joerg R.
2 August 2015, 18:50
Christian Meyerhoff
Well Mike, that`s good news. So with open hatches the interior will be visible.

Choppa Nutta
I would imagine making the turret removable wouldn't be to difficult either 🙂
2 August 2015, 19:14
Mike Kryza
Yes Christian, but as I wrote in the introduction this is a contribution for the scalemodeltrophy.eu. And I to obey the rules... 🙂
Choppa, to remove the turret is very easy.

Ingmar Stöhr
Nice! I'm sure this will be another excellent model!

Stefan Fraundorfer
Hallo Mike!

Very neat. I was wondering when someone would start this kit and put it on the interwebs. 🙂
2 August 2015, 20:05
Mike Kryza
Thx a lot mates - next step is the painting. I will try the modulation style... 🙂
@Julian - I think tehre was one mate here on SCM who built up this kit too. I believe he built the french version.
@Stefan - recht hast Du. 😉 - vielleicht gibt es noch eine Dreingabe. 🙂

Mike Kryza
OK - I have not much pictures, but...
At first I use a light grey primer to locate mistakes. In the next step I sprayed dark grey from the bottom and a lighter grey from the top.
After this I tried 😉 the modulation style for the first time. I used grey tones in various shadows - for me it's ok, but the pics are not good enough. In the last pic the Panhard is sealed with a gloss coat. Ready, after drying for the decals... 🙂🙂🙂

Veli-Matti Sivonen
You are proceeding fast with this one. 🙂 ICM´s kit is such a good quality though that building phase doesn´t take long. I am planning to modify my second one to depict later production version in french colours.
4 August 2015, 18:10
Mike Kryza
Hi Veli - thx a lot. You're right - this is one of the best kits from ICM. I think they become better and better. And in my opinion they are good as for example Tamiya. Sharp details and not overdone with the parts.
And there is room for many conversions...
4 August 2015, 19:27
Holger Kranich
Yeah Mike, Looks cool! But you are already in the weathering stages, hu?
6 August 2015, 09:26
Kim Branders
Great start Mike.
6 August 2015, 10:43
Mike Kryza
Thx a lot Kim. --- Holly you know SCM is not "What's App". Uploading pictures here is "heavy work" for me too. Keep cool my friend.
6 August 2015, 18:04
Christian Meyerhoff
And I hope it never will be like this... 😉
6 August 2015, 18:09
Mike Kryza
6 August 2015, 18:51
Mike Kryza
@Christian - 👍
6 August 2015, 19:14
Christian Meyerhoff
Quod erat demonstrandum 🙂 Happy modelling!
6 August 2015, 19:23
Acki
Klasse Teil, Mike!
6 August 2015, 20:30
Mike Kryza
Acki - man weiss nie...
9 August 2015, 05:38
Mike Kryza
Hi Joerg - it's not fair. I nearly forgot the disaster... 😉🙂🙂
9 August 2015, 18:46
Choppa Nutta
very nicely done Mike, great colour and tone, looks aged in the rainy outdoors 🙂
10 August 2015, 19:11
Mike Kryza
Thx choppa - I'll do my best... 😉
10 August 2015, 20:00
Choppa Nutta
....... and your best is most excellent ! 🙂
I wonder how many different colours you used to get that rained on rust coming through the paint look ?
10 August 2015, 20:46
Mike Kryza
Hi Choppa - not very much indeed. Streaking grime for Panzer Grey, S.g. for DAK vehicles and S.g. for Dark Yellow vehicles. And on some places a little bit wash for green vehicles.
I have not a strikt plan, I often worked "out of the belly" (= a german adage) 🙂
11 August 2015, 17:20
Choppa Nutta
.... your "gut feeling" as we say 🙂
11 August 2015, 17:25

John Van Kooten
Very good looking Armored Vehicle, Mike! Beautiful! 👍 👍 And I agree with Jonns, always a shame the interior is hidden from view once the build is complete.

Ulf Petersen
Very well, Mike! Nice to see such a rare subject.👍

Album info

I used the very fine kit from ICM. But I decided to build the german version of the Panhard. All parts for the german version are included in the box, but no hint in the instruction sheet. Maybe ICM will spent us later on a german version.
I tried to interpretate original photos and in this case i identified other hatches and an antenna.
It's interesting, a lot of the 204er had a different look.
This build is a contibution to the scalemodeltrophy.eu.
