Guy Golsteyn The Porsche 911 GT3 is finally finished. I added some 'finished model pics' to show the end result.

Jürgen Prischenk Hi guy,

I like the Porsche super, I would put even the wheel nuts off colour.

With regards
Jürgen

bruno egral J'ai toujours voulu créer cette version de la 959... Mais elle est très difficile à trouver. Bonne chance à vous, et je suivrais ce projet avec intérêt.

Guido Haesevoets Amazing, still!

Kerber Good job!

Thomas Bischoff nice build ... and the scribing looks Matchbox style :)
15. August 2019, 18:49
Dave Flitton This must have been an early Hornby pop when they restarted the line, everything panel line was deep and wide
15. August 2019, 19:36
Bill Gilman This was a new tool in 2010, so it was early in the Hornby era. But it still makes up into a nice little model. The newer Airfix Hurricane Mk.I rag-wing has much nicer surface detail and scribing.

Dave Flitton Is this a new mold or just a rebox?
11. December 2011, 20:35
Burkhard D Reportedly a new mold, but nothing to get excited about

Guido Haesevoets but for 5,40 euros, nothing to get too dissapointed about either. ;)
11. December 2011, 20:47
Burkhard D Well, no. I remember how much I preferred Matchbox over Airfix in my early modeling days. Good fit and affordability were far more important than 'accuracy'. I am completing a Matchbox Ju188 right now. :)

But where I am today, I just don't think Airfix deserves 5,40 Euros for this job.

Guy Golsteyn I finally decided to take some pictures of this build. The plane was assembled and spraypainted with Tamiya enamels; I think it's time to go get me some acrylics now. Next I spraypainted a clearcoat. Next thing I am gonna do is color in the panel lines and fix the decals.

Mark Lovely build Guy!

Dave Flitton You did a great job on the paint. I would put that in my collection (which I did buy the kit after this conversation started)
