Thanks again guys. Greg - yes I took the entire divide out between the pilot and passenger as it wasn't in the book, so that meant no secondary panel.

Album info

The Airfix Chipmunk kit with a scratch-built interior and spats added to all three wheels. Surface detail sanded off and panel lines rescribed, cowling scoops hollowed out and openings added to the front. Exhaust was also moved downwards a bit. Red and white paint scheme as per the colour album of "The Black Island". Decals home made.
