I dropped a part , the indoor /outdoor Carpet monster (in my work space ) has claimed it ..slow going working out of sequence , till I find it

I have lino, which isnt a insurance to find the parts back. Days after scratching the diamond shaped plates who fit on the deepwading equipment I found the part back… 🙈

I opened the spare transmission kit , and I shall use the item from it ..good thing for "spares" . When I locate 👀 that little thing ,I'll just replace it in that kit

Thank you Finn, Simon and Carlos .@ Simon I agree a little more steel ,on the tracks ..was going easy on that ,trying not to over do it . I'm pleased I didn't break those fuel lines and managed to get the PE in place (yay!)

@ Tini ,slow going on the left side today ..It's amazing how far those tiny parts fly ..while trying to trim and clean them up (lol)..spent awhile crawling around on the floor .👀..but I found it

I managed to salvage ..the Headlight frame , after damaging it during removal from the sprue .next pic's I upload, it will be in place

Yes, I noticed also there is also aftermarket assembly made by A.Mig #8086 ..on my wish list for next time .

@ Dietmar , yes The headlight Blues ..Mini Art (T54 /T55) kits definitely are not entry level ..and work is not to be attempted if one has had too much coffee or tea (lol)

@Dietmar , yes knew better long before purchasing ...the challenge was why I bought several, My first Mini Art kits purchased were a pair of MK1 Dingo's ...The attention to detail of Mini Art products ,well worth the effort

Oh dear, @Dietmar. Every time I see the tram I got a diorama fantasy, born during playing an old MOH OR coD on the gameconsole 😉. My T-55 is my first Mini-art. is this it, @Mona, the headlight? On the 55 it's a double one.

@ Tini , yes it has just a single head light ,different on the Tiran 4 kit also . I will put in the lens later it the build

well I've made it to page 19 in the instruction book ,steps 68 ,69 and 70 (hooray 🙂 👍) I've never assembled a kit that has 1000+ pieces , still 20 build steps more to go ..before final paint 😉

@ John Wilkes agreed its slow going on this one for that reason , seems my skill level depends on how well my fingers and hands want to cooperate ,broke my right wrist last November is more swollen and hurts even more now than then ...plenty of time to study the instructions

@Ben M , the 1000 + is incorrect I exaggerated , just under for this kit and transmission kit combined ,some items not used . MiniArt put the parts an detail stats on the box art , when this series started but stopped . Only 1/3 of the ones in my stash have the part totals

@ Robert ..I really haven't been too motivated on this one since last February ,as I'm not sure how to display when done ..shame to build it then close it all up . almost done with my Centurion Shot Kal , then I'll finish this before starting anything else 🙂

@ Shar D , it wasn't difficult ,the linkage for the transmission a bit tricky ,and the instructions not super specific in the relationship of pieces for the brakes ..all the plastic for what would be tubing/piping ..on the engine very easy to break and I had to make several pieces I broke removing from the sprue....It wasn't difficult or "real" easy ...pays to review the instructions prior to each step , don't attempt after too much coffee or when nervous 😉
