All the extra work looks great!
Thanks Robert. Now let's see if I can paint it up right.
Great build. Looking forward to more updates!
Thank you Paul. I'm looking forward to getting past the engine compartment and then getting some momentum on this project again.
Let the painting begin!

How did this one slip by?
Glad I caught up.

For the Scalemates 2021 Zero Group Build
To add it to the group build you need to rename your project to " Scalemates Mitsubishi A6M Zero Group build 2021" then it will automatically be added 🙂
Good to see another mate join the fun!
I might be wrong, but wasn't it the album that needs to be named like the event?
Ok, I've titled the album and the project... not sure how to check and see if it is now added
You can take a look at the page of the event to check if it is visible there. (it is) 🙂
Thanks for letting me know!

Not sure yet if I'm going for 70's aboard USS F.D.Roosevelt or 80's aboard USS Nassau
Thank you Neil. I look forward to when you build your Camel and share it on here.
Too kind Carlos. I assure you it won't be anywhere near the standard of yours... Just a lovely looking build you've created 👏
Thank you Neil. Far better results than the last time when I built this 40+ years ago...
Fabulous build Carlos. I think that dog may be making an appearance with Me262. He certainly gets around 😄
Thanks Gary. I think that dog comes from a large litter of pups 😉

Well, to my eye it turned out better than the box top build 😉

Thank you Maciej. It did not turn out quite as I had hoped, but it is good enough.
Very nice 👍 Great job!
Joshua & Roland, thank you! I appreciate your kind words guys!
Nice! I have this in my stash also. You did a fantastic job
Thank you Neil. The kit has some issues, but it can be made presentable whether one tries to address the shortcomings or not.

This is a 12 hour build challenge put on by Southern California AMPS. Build a kit from start to finish within a 12 hour time span, broken up into four hour sessions over a three month period, all on Zoom meetings. So far this is what I've accomplished during the first four hour session in January.
Alright! Nice to see you took a Dutch subject for that challenge. Good luck! 👍
Very Cool ! I just did a AMT East German T-72, Such a lacking and pain in but kit. Always loved those Leopards, look forward to seeing this come out !
@ Patrick, my Dutch YPR was getting lonely on the display shelf. She's long overdue for some company.
@ Bob, yeah, I've built a couple of their T-72s back when they were first released. I will do another, now that I have the skills to properly improve and correct that kit, within reason. It's the closest thing OOB to a T-72 Ural out there currently.
Perfect, a Dutch Leopard 2A NL...count me in mate! one remark my friend, the two large grids on the back on top of the hull now look like two large spoked wheels, there is normally a mesh over them.
Thanks for that update on the engine deck mesh Jos. And thank you for looking in! I'll have a look at photos and see what I have on hand to address that. I only have one more 4 hour session left in the club challenge, so planning and preparation are a must!
Great looking build Carlos.
The zoom call is spectacular, novel idea
I never even thought of. Brilliant.
Hehe, gives me an idea.
Thanks Peppy! The club is planning to do a 20 hour build over the course of five months. Same concept, broken down into four hour blocks.
