Beautiful build in all aspects, and the photography is superb. I especially like the in-flight shot. Your friend would love this 👍

Thank you very much mates! Your feedback is highly appreciated!
I just added some additional shots made with light tent, as this plane is too big for my airfield base.

And many greetings to all the followers! Get over your writer's block and hit the keys! 🙂

One more outstanding Grandmasterpiece. 🙂
Übrigens großartig in Szene gesetzt. Die Grundplatte hat die gleiche Farbe wie Grass im Hintergrund und so ist die Illusion perfekt.

Wow mates - Many thanks for your overwhelming feedback!
@Bruce Exactly! Every time I look at the model consciously.
@ Bernhard That was more of a coincidence! My photo base is this autumnal airfield: Airfield - Autumn (Ammo by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-8482, No)
The autumn colours probably still fit in March. But I don't think I'll win any friends here with the idea of waiting until March to show the photos of the finished models every time? 😉

SM braucht langsam wirklich einen "Verbeuge-Smiley". 😉
Ganz, ganz großes Kino!

Thank you very much for your nice words!
One word about the lower surface of the fuselage as Alec mentioned it. The CSM manual says it is linen, but the Datafile reports the camouflage color was often used also on lower surface on fuselage. With following that rule I saved some masking effort 😉

Album info

My "Big Ack" flown by No.35 Sqn RFC in December 1917 is finished. The impressive number of 1700 units was built of this type. Just imagine the 1700 Beardmore engines lined up, or the 10000 cylinders for them.
A link to an photo of the original aircraft. Please note the pressure tube from the sync geear. The Lewis is not installed, but as I filled the drums into storage racks I need also add the Lewis to be consistent.

The kit made by Copper State Models, at least in the Premium Edition here, is a little sensation! But still, I found small possibilities for scratch-built additions here and there.

I dedicate this model to my friend Roland, who recently passed away at the age of 54. Rest in peace.
