Antonov An-74 Toko 1/288 OOB

Two sprues and few parts 

All main assemblies primed with Tamiya XF 14. Also searching for the Aeroflot grey. 

Dry fitting the engine gondolas and the wing 

Checkin if it's possible to paint the gloss white by hand ... to me it looks good. 

White and grey have been brush painted. On the wing masking has been done with Tamiya tape... Grey on the fuselage has been painted free hand ,,,, Yes ... I know ... it needs some retouching. Anyway I'll check if the decals cover that. 

Chat line masking. First I put masking tape over the decal and marked the outline with a pencil. 

Then I cut the masking tape. 

Put the tape on the model , and brush painted with grey. 

Some retouches were needed with a fine brush. I found a note holder at the office that's very useful for small kits. 

Natural metal on leading edge of wings and tail is polished aluminium decal. 

Decalling completed. Red on wing and tail plane tips is Gunze H23 Shine Red. 

Calling it done 

Not one of my best kits ,  

but I'm happy with the end result 

And ... let's go for another kit
