i am trying to find my jaw from under the table..... the weathering the flat tires, the details of the machine in the building with even the metal curls around, the texture of the tree trunk.... this is perfection......

I'm speechless and agree Spanjaard. I love the details on the other side of the wall. Drilling machine, electric installation and poster. Alexey: you are master of details!🙂

Looks very interesting. Where can I buy such sovjet walls? I never found something like this.

Thank you, friends! Loaders of this type are popular on the territory of the former USSR. Here you can see different models: techstory.ru/du/nepr_pogr_kol.htm The fence, slabs, curb stones and vending machine we make with my friend in the Red Iron Models. You can buy them from our website. Milling machine from Verlinden.

Very nice work, and I also didn't knew this type of machine..., but the weathering looks splendid...

This deserves more 'WOW's' than I could possibly type. The attention to detail is mind-blowing, even the metal swarf in the workshop!!!!!!

I had no idea such a machine existed! Model is brilliant Alexey, and you have educated me on removing snow off a road.

if the final product was amazing to contemplate, seeing the WIP is truly leaving me speechless.... the fact that you built this thing completely from scratch and you achieved such and amazing result with those amazing details is not award winning, is not a work of art, is not master piece... is is a category in itself, beyond mastery, beyond almost everything we can see in this site. something to aspire and dream for all of us... and that will be always beyond the reach of also most of us... my respect and admiration
there is one thing i would love to know, how did you make that "broken glass" of the window...??? i have never seen one so realistically achieved.
21 December 2017, 00:25
Alexey Velichkovskiy
I am glad that you like. The glass is made from a broken light bulb and clear nail polish.

thanks, and the PE chain? i think it may be perfect for a 1/6 bike..... you did it yourself, or you got it somewhere?
21 December 2017, 06:42
Alexey Velichkovskiy
I wanted to use a chain from a motorcycle, but I was not sure if it would fit. I and my friend are co-owners of Red Iron Models, we produced PE for me.

Thanks again for these WIP pics. Indeed, it's a full scratch, not just a conversion or a kitbash. A rare topic, a full scratch... A great piece !! Congrats Alexey.
Is it copper slabs that you've used?
21 December 2017, 09:46
Alexey Velichkovskiy
Yes, copper 0,3 mm.
