Christoph Schnarr AuthorChildhood memories (building the old Airfix kit) were the trigger for building the new Fairey Battle from Trumpeter. Since this kit is unfortunately not completely flawless, I will supplement it with parts (propeller, cockpit canopy and various small details) from the old Classic Airframes kit of the Battle. The bomb bays not included in the kit were built by myself.

Christoph Schnarr AuthorThe CR.714 from rsmodels is also finished. Painted with colors from Hataka Orange Line and marked as the plane of the Polish pilot Corporal Andrzej Niewiara during the Battle of France in June 1940.

Christoph Schnarr AuthorThe third Focke-Wulf in my small series is a Fw 190 A-6. The kit is again from eduard and is largely built oob.

Christoph Schnarr AuthorAlso finished yesterday is the Fw 190 A-6 in the markings of Sturmstaffel 1. Except for a few small details, the model was built mainly oob and painted with colours from Gunze and Tamiya. The decals are from Cutting Edge.

Christoph Schnarr AuthorIn my search for a relaxed modelling project, I picked out the Fw 190 kit from eduard. Apart from the matching Löök set from eduard, the construction will be largely oob.
However, to make the whole thing a little more challenging, I'm now building a small series of this aircraft type in parallel with three other Fw 190s from eduard

Christoph Schnarr AuthorFinished yesterday. The Fw 190 A-5 was built oob except for a supplementary Löök- and mask set from eduard. The painting was done with colours from Gunze and Tamiya.
