Highly impressive how much work you put into that old and poor kit
The result is outstanding

I can remember building this kit way back in the stone age. Cleaning it up with used razor blades from my father. You take this kit ten steps higher! A beauty.

Album info

HAWKER P.1127 - An AIRFIX 1/72 kit.
After a week spent for searching & watching the most pics
I got from the Web about this machine...now I am starting
the building of my new project:
The first P.1127 prototype XP831, by AIRFIX.
Very complicated task, 'cause the kit rather than injection mold,
indeed it LOOKS LIKE a Short Run.))
It has nothing for interiors, for the cockpit [ it's just a poor seat ]
undergear and power supply turbine wells,
and crude gear and wheels. Thus,
in a moment of madness..I've decided to go for an all
out effort on this ancient [AIRFIX released it in 1963]
Hawker P.1127, 1/72 scale kit.
Legend tells of rivets like barnacles, whimsical details
and parts that lightly caress each other, rather
than fitting like gloves. ))
I shall fear nought though, for my arms to slay this beast
will be plasticard, Milliputt, plastic rod and strut together...
..with the shield of beer drinks cans. [written in AUG 12nd, 2015]
