Building made from styrofoam using hot wire, pencil and acrylic color. Door made from stirring sticks and metal sheet. Roof tiles made from metal sheet. These are not glued yet, still figuring out the final positioning.

I really like your tool to make corrugated metal, simple, but really effective!

Thanks mate! Using a quite soft sheet metal, like those from mustard tubes, gives really nice results. So consuming enough mustard or mayonese is key 😄

Brilliant DIY tool for making sheet metal. The outhouse would be a great addition to a diorama. Do you have plans for it?

Thanks for your encouraging comments, mates!!!

@Neuling: Fortunately one tube delivers sheet for multiple projects, otherwise I would suffer serious health problems 🙂
@Jennifer: Of course a small diorama is in the pipeline. Some groundwork, some vegetation, some garbage bins...kicked the base off today 🙂

Added some details to the building, as I found it at the original place. Corrected the angle of the downpipe to a more straight one. The base is just a small one surrounding the building. Walked that path below the building, right before I discovered it - so a must for the dio 🙂

Some progress on that base and first round of paint on that bins.

On the surface, this Dio looks deceptively simple, yet so captivating given all of the tiny little details you piled onto it! Love it! All that's missing is a dog rifling through the garbage, or a person hiding inside, peering outside to see if the zombie has passed by! 😜

Thanks, mates!
Dio completed. Added a dog as suggested by CaptGPF and Jennifer, which brings some life into the scene. Was quiet challenging to find a suitable dog, finally found one from Royal Models. The quality is rather poor and disappointing. Not satisfied with painting as well. Besides the dog the build was fun and meditative - that´s what counts 🙂

Was soooo unhappy with the finish of the dog. The poor boy was treated with a blade in order to get some structure on that surface. Much more happy with the result now 🙂
