testing out the weight and pose, looks like it's gonna hold.
gunze C368 + white for RAF Sky. unusual for me to start with the lightest color however in this case there is going to be a tailband on the fuselage wrapping around in Sky and it's a very stupid color.
also did some mapping with tamiya nato brown for dirt and grime. actually this went on first, then came sky.
round hole in the middle is actually for some sort of light i guess, however it fits the stand perfectly.
will install the control surfaces at the last minute possible because their contacts are extremely flimsy and i know i'll be breaking them manhandling when doing the camo work... problem is actually caused by the gear up stance, alas it is what it is.
also wing topside roundels and tailflag is painted and masked. i will not use the roundels underneath so that's why the bottomside wings are empty for now.

thinned with mlt, shot freehand over gunze super metallic iron + hairspray.
this is the result after 1st pass.
next stop will be dark earth.

decals are done over VA gloss varnish thinned with it's own thinner, ~3:1
time to do a bit of weathering.
started weathering the underside with oil paints.
