WoW, that's paper, pretty impressive.👍

Martin Frcka
Thank you. Yes it is paper and in this case with a quite a lot of metal wire 🙂

That is the most impressive paper kit I have ever seen !!
simply marvelous, hats off to the designers of this kit, great detailing !!
And your build of it thus far is looking great too 🙂

I take it you're mounting the paper onto a foam or card sheet to give it strength ?
6 August 2018, 11:55
Choppa Nutta
Does the kit include a canopy or any other extras ?
or is it just paper and nothing else ?
6 August 2018, 11:56
John Thomas
Very cool

the paper is glued on the card sheet (not corrugated) in various thickness as needed (0.5mm; 1mm or thin printer paper which is usually 160g (0.2mm thick). So far for all planes from Halinski the vacuformed canopy is available (only few models don't have any available) - same deal as Pavla models are making vacu canopy for plastic kits. The canopy is sold separately (but is really cheap and the final result is worth it every time).
and I agree. Hats off to the designers of not only this kit but most of the Halinski series. There are many great kits available (check this page halinski.com.pl/indexgb.php - there are great models available - ships, planes, armor, helicopters - check the gallery - lot of great stuff 😉 ).

You have my total admiration Martin. I have only ever seen the card models at the last QMHE, and the detail blew me away.
Just stunning. 👍 🙂
The images make it all come to life. 🙂

@bobinspokaloo, if you have not seen anything like this before, look at the ones built by scalemates.com/profi..=albums&show=all it is simply incredible...

I never seen before a build of a paper plane. This look great and it's hard to Believe it's paper!

impressive builds Martin! th e link for the panther is not correct, it is the same as the first of the links to posted (spitfire)
10 August 2018, 12:17
Martin Frcka
Yes I know. It should be correct now. Apologies.
10 August 2018, 12:22
Spanjaard
no need to apologize! impressive panther!!!! even with interior.... wow!
10 August 2018, 12:25
Martin Frcka
Thank you kindly.
10 August 2018, 12:26
Spanjaard
getting all those tracks assembled must take for ever!
10 August 2018, 12:31
Martin Frcka
it was never-ending story 😄 I'm glad that I started the model with the tracks. It would be a nightmare if I left the tracks last.
10 August 2018, 12:47
Spanjaard
indeed! but you certainly had a lot of patience there!!
10 August 2018, 12:56
Bart Goesaert
and that in paper... it never ceizes to amaze me...
15 August 2018, 05:48
Glenn
Well this is looking amazing for a paper plane! If you make a mistake can you just use liquid paper to correct it? 🙂
17 August 2018, 05:12
Johan DN
Amazing - blows me away! What glue do you use?
Btw, be careful with the match and the candle matchh+candle+paper=fire :-/
20 August 2018, 06:47
Martin Frcka
Thank you kindly. The candle is for a blob of CA glue (slower drying time) 🙂 and I'm using white (PE) glue for the most parts.
20 August 2018, 06:52
Martin Frcka
Glenn - I'm afraid the only liquid I could use to correct small problems is the glue itself 🙂
20 August 2018, 07:14
Glenn
I have some gaffer tape here Kerry, will that help? 🙂 just kiddin'
I know if i tried making one of these i would just get it finished then would most likely accidentally squash it or something!!! 😮
21 August 2018, 00:25
Kerry COX
I'll take the tape Greg. LOL. I have not the courage to attempt a card model, but my mate who wins all the time with his assures me it's not as hard as it looks. 🙂
21 August 2018, 01:59
Es-haq Khosravi
Wowwww! That's insane! Both your job and it's designers!
21 August 2018, 21:02
Martin Frcka
Kerry, your mate is quite right. It's really not that hard. You just need a lot of patience 😉 If you fancy a go, then go for it.
31 August 2018, 06:40
Bart Goesaert
splendid.... simply splendid...
25 September 2018, 10:51

Martin. 👍 🙂
That is one special build, made all the more remarkable that it is nothing like we are used to seeing, let alone, building.🙂
Truly, a beautiful result that has me really inspired to see one of these in my display case.
Thank you for sharing what you have in the way of skills and ability.
Salute. 👍 👍 👍
Martin. Would you be kind enough to post a link for where I can order one please. ? 🙂
25 September 2018, 11:03
Martin Frcka
Thank you very much.
Kerry, you can find this one and many, many other here: "halinski.com.pl/indexgb.php"; (Tempest is in section Aircraft and helicopters as number 67).
25 September 2018, 11:54
Kerry COX
Brilliant mate. Thank you. 👍
I just had a look at BNA here and they had NOTHING. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
But now I have your link. You just may have some competition. hahahahaha 👍
Chjeers. 👍
25 September 2018, 12:05
Martin Frcka
You are most welcome. I'm looking forward to your builds. 🙂
25 September 2018, 13:20

Halinksi designs are simply breathtaking.... and it is great to have somebody who can make the most of them, like you did with this one. congratulations.

29 September 2018, 14:15
Hoodlum90
What types of glue do you use?
29 September 2018, 15:31
Martin Frcka
Thank you everybody. 99% of the time I'm using PVA glue (Herkules) but you could use any glue which is for paper, wood, etc. For wires and small parts which need to have strength CA glue is the best option.
29 September 2018, 18:25
Bastian Bäuerle
