The Wheelwells had to be grinded to make the top wing fit properly ** correction!! Eduard numbered the wrong parts for the wheel wells. It used the wells for the 109G with the bigger wheels**

Album image #26
Some minor gaps at the fuselage-wing section when dry fitting. This is easily solved by first glueing the bottom wing, before ...

Album image #27
... stretching the top wing upwards until the the gap is closed for glueing

Finally the last step done. Ready for Paint

I love the MRP colors

Primed

Album image #32
Their primer is very smooth.

Album image #33
I tried a new way of Preshading... this is a first, so lets see what happens

Album image #34

Album image #35
The Yellow has a great Tone, but that little Preshade i made was allready to strong! i had to Reverse most of the Preshade with Primer in order to make the Yellow acceptable.

Album image #36
I hope the RLM78 Blue for the Belly doesnt have to get the same going as the yellow :|

Album image #37
I had to Re-Do the Spinner. My Flat Clear was clogging and had lots of clouds on it. So i removed the color and started again, this time playing with Shadows and Lights.

On the finishing line. Only some touches here and there left and i'll call it done

Thank you guys!! 🙂 please, have a seat and support me to the end. Tipps, hints and feedbacks are always welcome.
@ Bart, the spinner looks alittle too much on the pics than it actually is.

spinner looking good. but it surprise me that you are leaving that mould line in the centre of the exhausts.
9 February 2017, 17:51
Roger Lustenberger
Hi Spanjaard. The DB 601E had those seams on the exhaust
9 February 2017, 18:20

is ok. a single question: on the vertical part of the chair is chipping between seat-belts? i cant tell from picture
Ps u did not used photo etch parts on pedals?
19 February 2017, 18:27
Roger Lustenberger
Hi Razvan, i did some small scatches on the seat, but mostly its actually some crystal glue i used to fix the belts. And for the pedals, i never use the photo etched ones because you wont see it at the end when both halfs are together.

It's always nice to see one in non-standard camo's... Splendid work; also how you make the panels come forward...
2 March 2017, 10:45
Roger Lustenberger
Hey Bart, Thanks. I added a drop of White into the color and lightend each panels this way. check my Do-335, did it the same way.

Slowly getting to an end. Missing the Antena & Clearparts and started with the Base and Figure

Excelent work till now and the color scheme is unusual (in a very good sense) for the 109's
8 March 2017, 17:40
Roger Lustenberger
Figure is done, the base awaits for the glue to harden and the antenna wire is missing on the Friedrich. This Weekend its getting its Roll-Out
