The camo coloures match perfect, i think! And a great paintjob! I´m not so into the MiG 21 and i have a question: Is this a special version with changed avionics or why does the pitot doesnt have the distinctive hooks?

Thanx! Hahah, the pitot tube is a poor representation I suppose. Should I have known that it would look so bad I would have bought an aftermarket kit from MASTER. I'm also not a great fan of mig-21 hence the out of the box built.

This is one of the best MIG-21 SMT I have seen, great job on the build and painting. As I have this in my stash can I bother you once I should start? 🙂 🙂 🙂

Sure, Eduard kits are mostly I joy but I was utterly disappointed by the decals. As much as I tried (soaked them in gunze juices and varnishes afterwards) you can still see the silvering 🙁 too thick and not sticky at all

The plane in the photo - the MiG-21MT (item 96B)
factory "Banner of Labor" published in 1971, the party of the aircraft in the amount of 15 pieces. Preserved, probably only three copies of the MiG-21MT at the training site of the former military department MEI removed. 964 011, 964 014, 964 015.
Around 1980 the MiG-21MT were transferred to the 3rd Squadron of the 66th oapib airfield duffel.
Model. Color-radio-surfaces too light. The edge of the inlet should be colored. Powder boosters used only to intercept (on the MT and CMT are not used at all), why are suspended bomb?
A good model, accurate assembly.

Igor, very interesting information, thank you. Russian greens are always confusing... What was the typical armament of these?

Thanx Christian 👍, but I don't think they are interested... btw, did you provide them with the built in their site?

Hey guys, please stopp 😉 Your are too kind, but there are so many talented modellers here at SM, and so much wonderful builds I cant resist to look every day in here!
The story with my MiG is funny, its indeed one of my first builds with some resin parts, and the build itself is ok, but I did not use the correct colours. Anyway, I have sent a link to Petra from Eduard, to have a look at it. I am glad that they use the pics as reference for their kit, but its not a quite good reference I think. My MiG-21 from Finish Airforce is much better:
