Patrick Hagelstein I really like the idea of attaching the canopy rails to the cockpit sills! Although the canopy is meant to be closed, all the details are to be seen when the canopy is just lifted off if somebody wants to look inside.

Christian Ristits Thanks again for your nice comments! Yes Patrick, this was exactly my idea...I saw one reference photo with the many many details inside this area, and I wanted to detail some parts as well - although the canopy is closed.
John Dunbar The F-104 metal finish is outstanding!! Congratulations Christian!

Christian Ristits Thank you very much mates, your wirds mean a lot to me! @ Hanno, aus deinem Mund nehme ich das besonders gerne an, bin mittlerweile ein totaler Fan dieser 50 und 60er Jahre Jets, u.a. auch durch deine super tollen x-jets inspiriert!
Dieter Bihlmaier Great Harrier Christian! I think this is the Hasegawa rebox. I had also a bit of trouble with my USMC Harrier II. The sliding part of the canopy touches the scoops, when in open position. Also the plane has a nose high attitude when one sticks the nose section to the main body as described in the construction manual.
Christian Ristits Thank you very much Alex and Dale - Alexander, she wears the silhouette of the HMS Sheffield on her fuselage, according to my recherche she was involved with another Etendard in this fight and fired one Exocet against this ship (one of two Exocets hit the target).
