Holger Kranich Hi Zeljko, how did you like the kit? I have it in my stash. The engine at least, looks superb!

Zeljko Stojanovic Hi Holger! In general, I am very positively surprised with this model. I even think it's better than the similar Hasegawa Fw190 A8 . Good basis for super detailing. What's not good: too much is the simplified pilot cabin and the complete absence of rivets. Everything else is quite satisfactory. The engine is a model for itself. I did not work much on his details because I closed the covers.

Holger Kranich Thanks for the Info! I am looking forward to build it! Have you added pictures of your build here?
Holger Kranich Hi Treehugger, your post made me curious. So i scanned all the german speaking reviews. No one mind the problem of a wobbly canopy. They all say that the clear parts are the way the should, regarding size and scale. But one thing is right, the these side load boxes are sh*t!

Sebastian Meyner Yes those boxes are far from being the best solution, and I honestly think Revell knows that too...but if I'm not mistaking there is actually a law in effect, that regulates how much raw material (card board) one is supposed to spend on a box of a certain size. Not sure if it's only german or EU law though.
Btw: I own this kit and the canopy is alright, certainly not the best quality on the marked but it's as is.

Holger Kranich Maybe this floppy box is one of the reasons why Revell can give us nice models to moderate prices.
