I'm not a real truck builder, but I'll admit when I'm at a show I always check the vendor room for this kit or this one:
Kenworth Aerodyne (Revell/Lodela RH-7413, 1:25)

Finally finished this truck...It had so many flaws I stopped correcting them. Did learned alot from this kit and that knowledge I can take on to the next kit 🙂

Nice work Danny! A lot of determination went into that I'm sure! I work for an hour or two at a time a few times a day so my body doesn't realize what I've done! LOL. The only thing I might have done different is the air bags, fifth wheel and mud flaps would've been flat black, but that's just me. Keep up the good work mate!

Thx for the comments guys 🙂
@Tim I wasn't sure about the colors at first but then tried this colorscheme and didn't want to change it lol 😛 And I do the same, work on a kit for 1 or 2 hours at the time few times a day. or when I have to much pain, then skipping a day 🙂

Don't the Aussies drive on the wrong, not right!, side of the road? Steering wheel in your kit is on the left side. Either the kit is wrong, OR the Kenworths were delivered like this back in the day. Where is our resident Aussie-truck-ologist when you need him? Peter, wake up!

In other news, I think you did well on this kit. K100's look awesome and so does yours 👍

I was wondering the same, if it's a mistake or what...IMO think it was a fault of Revell, cuz KW had a plant in Australia in 1962 already. think Revell was cutting corners by using most of the parts in this kit for various models, including this "Australian" version. also some parts in the box for a Aerodyne version (upper glass and second bed) and a normal chrome front bumper for other K100's

This is totally VIT level!! Great interior!! My current truck is a VIT too... I hope I do it justice. Very Important Truck... basically it makes an exterior statement (VIT badge on truck) about how classy/elegant your interior is.

This truck looks great! I like this model kit a lot and never bought it. I had a black one with the flat roof (not an aerodyne) which was destroyed in my man's cave when a wall collapsed. It still sits in a box. Maybe sometime it could get a restoration. I think all the parts are there.

Album info

This build is for me my first complete build after the Monogram Peterbilt 1/16

Still a learning curve for me and didn't use real sanding and no putty used. cabine was first use of an airbrush so still need to find my way here. Used revell paint and didn't prime chassis parts.

When started on cabine, found alot of problems. floor and cabine was all bend. used heat to get the floor abit in shape again but found out it's still not good. Front windows are to small and chrome was really a mess. stopped with the cabine cuz I almost wanted to use a hammer on it 😛

My biggest problem is my Ilness, have reuma, artritis and severe osteoporosis. causing alot of pain in hands and back. but still enjoy working on kits 🙂
