69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator

The pinnacle of american car design (if someone asks me 😉 )

Build this beauty maybe 10ish years ago with the following additions:
- 3rd party wheels
- BMF
- selfmade exhaust system from brass tube and kit mufflers
- engine wired (not completely)

Fit was horrible, especially chassis to body. I got the kit not in the best condition and I could not save the stripe decals. Only the "eleminator" label was useable.

If I had to reduce my model car collection to one piece - this cougar would survive!

@Mathijs: No the rims are aftermarked. I believe it was Aoshima but not sure.
@Dominik: Good point about the sidemarker. I should have sanded them away for a cleaner shape 😛 I will not touch it right now.

Perfect fit and AMT kits are two things what you can't have together in the same box! but you make a great job here!

THX mates. Shine came from Tamiya gloss clear (spray can), but it has orange peel (see pic #6). Today I would polish it, but back than I was happy with the result.
