Thanks my friend,
I always liked the style of this car and even though its not a car I ever had I'll keep it displayed in my model garage "cause its a cool lookin' car. And a pretty decent kit too!
The pictures really don't do it justice. My little Kodak doesn't seem to be able to deal with the pearl glitter very well. It looks even better "live"

Bill, It's a Cadillac engine that came optional. I built the flathead V8 and display it in my model garage showroom.
d Hadley, Oh boy, I sure would like to go to a model show. Never been to one. There aren't any in my local area that I know of. I WISH !!!!! lol

That's great! You're right about the paint effect not showing so well, try using a flash even in daylight, it helps 👍

I bet you do have a fun bunch of modelers there. Man, there's nothing I'd like better, I know it would be fun. DANG !!!
Munkeysut,
Well, I jut tried shooting the latest build [57 Chrysler] in direct sunlight. No matter how I did them they looked terrible, too bright! Lately I have replaced the old fluorescent work light with LED and it seem to do better. I just don't have the greatest camera. I'm in a poorly lit room, except for in the afternoon when the sun shines in. I'm going to post those now, see what you think.

Album info

A pretty nice kit. Comes w/2 complete engines, the stock flathead V8 or 390 Cadillac w/tri power or blower. Stock or custom wheels & tires, custom interior. Builds into a real nice looking model.
I used homemade pearl red craft paint w/craft varnish, sanded & polished.
I used the Cad engine and display the flathead.
If you like these old Fords this is a good kit.
