Hobby Fair (Korea) 2019

I attended the 2019 edition of the Korea Hobby Fair today. It was a great chance to see some of the amazing models being made in the region. My 9-year old son came along and was the amateur photographer at large. Pics are in random order. The highlight was getting my hands on the advanced preview box of the upcoming 1/144 scale Academy B-1B. Enjoy!

Yeah, that Japanese sub sailing through the rocks was something else. I was also intrigued by Academy's Gatchaman Phoenix kit. Anime nerds might know that's the version from Gatchaman II (or Fighter), not the original. If the price is right, I might get one just for the 1/144 scale characters... and then build my own.😉

I should also mention I got taken at the Flea market. I bought (for $3) an Airfix rescue team box... which I found out later was missing all the vehicles. The Irony is it's the exact same box I bought last year, discovered the problem, took back and got my money back. I suppose I was destined to have it.
