I was going for a used, worn look after a long patrol. The Griffon PE added to the look overall but there were some disappointing issues. Even when folded correctly, some of the pieces just didn't fit together. It was very frustrating. The deck guns were the hardest thing I ever had to build and would look better if my hands were more steady. And I tried 4 times to get the cable from the tower to the torpedo stretched tight, but I just couldn't do it. This was a fun build and just my 5th completed kit since I restarted the hobby after a 45 year absence. I'm pleased with the result and I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

She looks fine to me. Re the torpedo wire. Isn't it possible attach the rope first ( a bit shorter ) and then glue the torpedo to the loading bracket?

Well, that sure would have been the SMART thing to do. Of course, I glued everything down first...not thinking ahead.

Like most people I'm only smart in hindsight.
Been in your shoes lots of times.
