Donald Dickson IIOK, for a change of pace. I am a good father and have taught my children well. My youngest son is a big Beatles fan. So when this came up on the FB model auction site, Scale Model Graveyard, I snagged it. I have not been feeling it lately with modeling, so something simple build wise will be refreshing I think. The painting wont be quite so simple, but I enjoy painting the most out of the steps in a build.

Donald Dickson IIOK, I was wrong abut an easy build. This was clearly meant to be nothing but a toy. Wind up crank to cause the propeller (should be two, but will stick with the single) to spin. Wheels on the bottom to push it across the floor. Side doors never meant to close flush. Gaps and holes that have no discernible purpose. Just wow.

Donald Dickson IIOK, sprayed more white. Then I made a copy of the decals and cut out the red "cheat line". Taped it down in order to get the curves right. Then I sprayed the camel yellow from the Tamiya rattle can. Its just about perfect for the off yellow portions. But...
I am freaking done with Tamiya spray paints. Almost ever bleeding time I use them I get this result you see in the pictures. I dont know why, but it pisses me the hell off. Now I have to let that sets and sand it down. Because I havent done enough damn sanding on this thing. So clearly I need to decant and spray with the AB every freaking time. Once I sue up the cans I have, I wont be using them again if I can avoid it.

Greg, the only one I have totally ditched and gotten ris of was the 1/32 A-6. All others are still hanging around. LOL

Donald Dickson IIAnd its all done. 🙂 Looks much better in the pics. LOL If I run across this "kit" again, I may get it to try some different things to make it look better. BUT, it will make my son happy, so thats all I care about.
