Hey Rui, I see you made your own canvas top for the Opel. How did you do it? What materials? It look pretty convincing!

Hi John,
This kit isn't finished yet as you can see in the truck bonnet and windscreen , but thx for a revival it.
I used MacDonald's table napkin soaked in water thinned down white glue. As usual in me, nothing fancy or too expensive.

Finally I can consider this dio finished.
(However..., I have been thinking about parking a motorcycle next to the figure that controls the traffic 🤔😉 )

Thank you very much Jakob. I'm very glad, you think so.
Comming from a detail expert and such a talented modeler, makes me happy.

@Neuling, Thank you very much for your nice comment. I'm Happy that you find it good.
Yes, I'm still doing old kits, or less expensive ones, to gain experience and work on improving them without aftermarket stuf.
@ Es-haq Khosravi, Thank you for your nice comment, much apreciated and I'm very glad you like it.

Some fine old school modelling Rui. Very nice base, and historic background.

Thank you very much for your very nice comments, mates.
@ Dietmar, Much apreciated and I feel happy that you like this one.
@ Jan, Yap I can say that I'm a bit of an old school stubborn. Still a lot of dry brushing; humbrol enamel use; lack of aftermarket stuff and so on...😉 But very glad to receive your comment.
@ Olivier, You might be right, I think the driver got scared and followed the traffic controller's directions to strictly😉

I like the way you place the models and figures so that they look natural and realistic. It brings your dio's to life.

What a lively and realistic scene, I can almost hear this Opel Blitz's engine being downshifted one gear, while taking that curve.....
The guy with the sunglasses looks exceptionally cool !

Hallo Hanno, I'm very, very glad that you noticed this work and comment. Your kind words made me laugh.
You are right, that down slope curve and the guy waving... better be careful. Thank you, very much appreciated.
If that one looks cool, it is the other one who is smoking, who knows what, with all that smoke coming out😉

@ gorby, sorry. I noticed and I don't know why I didn't thank your kind comment.
I don't like when it happens to me, so I hope you can forgive my fault.

For sure, really nice!
Fantastic scene!
The landscape is beautifully implemented and looks nice dusty 👍
A nice gimmick are the sunglasses

@Pepe, Thank you, I'm glad you like it and appreciate you stopping by on this one and comment.
@Simon, Thank you for your kind words, apreciated. It was a fun work indeed. If I remember correctly the sun glasses came in the figure it self, not a separate piece, but not 100% sure?
And thank you both for your likes, apreciated.
