14. July at 09:33:08
Alec K Interesting indeed! Very well done sir
19. July at 11:49:01
Slavo Hazucha Another great model Alexander... The wing weathering and color transition to used pale look is really excellent & for me the highlight of the whole thing. You really have a long list of weathering & damage techniques checked :) The propeller effect is also an interesting feature, works really well in some perspectives.
19. July at 13:27:23
Jens Hello Alexander, what a madness in the colors, just brilliant, the aging fits perfectly with the well-known pictures, almost a 1: 1 copy of the model Congratulations, just dreamlike

Slavo Hazucha wow Alexander, another beauty. You seem to have a corner in your heart for old&damaged aircraft, I like that The work on the wing is superb, the balance of the heavy weathering overal just admirable... You know your trade sir! MiG-21's are just such great objects to torture... ;)
14. July at 11:56:16
Nathan Dempsey That's some truly lovely weathering.
14. July at 12:52:02

Alexander Perov Thanks to all .over the diorama yet thought. I guess it will. and the rotor blades, I think if your prototype FW-190 is wide, they're probably wooden.
13. July at 08:25:24
Michael Hickey That's right you jolted my memory Alexander, the wide chord props are wooden. Thanks :)
13. July at 11:57:01
Slavo Hazucha Thanks mates for all the info - I knew Germans used all kinds of hacks in late WWII due to different shortages, but not wooden propellers... Interesting really, since lack of most metals was not the biggest issue afaik, lots of factory-new planes & tanks just standing around without fuel in '44-45. Also that it is mounted on such a high-performance plane surprised me - always learning

James C Awesome work
5. July at 20:12:42
Slavo Hazucha Very nice metal finish and chipping. The immaculate canopy also helps a lot to make look it so good.

Out of interest, what does the struck kill (2nd from left, bottom row) mean - one that was denied later?
6. July at 07:00:59
Alexander Perov Thanks for the comments of Ki-61-I "Hien" Commander 244th "Senta" Major Teruhiko Kobayasi, Japan, April 1945. The bomber, shot down by a ram strike, is marked in a special way.

Cristian Bordina Great job Alexander, I agree with all the mates, waves are wonderful, but the idea to represent the sea floor is fantastic. The weathering of the sunk Zero is really appropriate. So, in my opinion, you made a masterpiece :)
13. April 2016 at 16:36:50
Alexander Perov Thanks for the feedback .maybe some moment to learn from my work
14. April 2016 at 16:32:58
EnsignExpendabl Wow, amazing!
14. April 2016 at 17:50:28
Patrick Hagelstein So, is this the same setup as with coporado? Is this also a display case with the waves as a roof panel? If so, how did you let all the animals float around?
28. March at 01:22:39
Alexander Perov The Waves are made of transparent sealant on transparent plastic. And animals in different ways that on a thin wire others on a transparent piece of thin plastic
28. March at 14:26:12
Patrick Hagelstein Thanks for the explanation! I am pondering on a diorama with a semi submerged Sherman tank near the coast line of Saipan and I wanted to have some fish and a diver figure swimming around it. I now think I have an idea to go ahead.
28. March at 15:45:58
Patrick Hagelstein Check! picture 9 shows the wire for the shark.

Alexander Perov Thank you for your comments. This model is very old and its quality corresponds to the year of its production
1. March at 19:05:26
Neuling You succeeded in bringing this kit to life in the best way possible: it looks like a very good kit!
1. March at 19:56:25
Spanjaard Getting a good result with the best kit, is almost a must.... A true modeller shines getting great results even with old kits, with bad fit and broken decals!

Irving González great work, do you have infor about the number 423, i never say this 4th company.
11. December 2018 at 19:08:28
Alexander Perov No it's just a number of decals just the coloring options from the set I did not like and I decided to just change the numbers in places. And since I am not a tanker and pilot...... It's just a tiger......
