Sarah-JaneTurned out very nice well done, the tyre decals on my model the letters were seperate, I real pain. How did you find attaching the two body halves together ?

I had cut the hood out and painted it separately. The part between hood and front window I had to make using quick putty. Something went wrong and the hood doesn' t fit perfectly. I will try glue them together and I will polish the hood again, I have just bought new polishing pad. Unfortunately head light won't fit perfectly...That was a lesson for me.

Christian WSee, I didn't even notice, that the hood is closed by the kit! What a shame for that, that I have a kind of this regular Civic in my shelf.
Afterwards I think, it would have been better to tape the body and paint it in place. To take the risk, that the color could come of with the tape. "You have to die one way dead" you could say. You're always smarter afterwards. Sometimes it's annoying. 😉 You can make it.

I wanted to make a custom exhaust and I drilled the holes and I deepened them using conical file. Something went wrong and holes are uneven...I am unexperienced scale modeler. Yellow paint looks fantastic because of pink surfacer, it makes color a little bit reddish and vibrant. Next car I am going to make is Honda Civic Type R EK9 Mugen. 🙂

JvLooks fantastic you can just make some Exsorst tips out of any metal tube
And glue it on what you got
You can also buy tips at hobby shops

CasModelerWhich engraving blade should I use? I bought Gt65 0,3mm and Gt65 0,15mm. Does it matter?

Martin OostromThat's personal preference. Mine would be the 0,15. The thicker lines can look like trenches imo.

CasModelerHey guys! I have a question. Last time, when I sanded base coat from 2000 grit paper to 8000 surface was not shin
y. I had to use clear coat to achieve high gloss finish. This time is different, body I sanded(2500grit paper to 8000) is glossy and orange peel free without even use clear coat. Why earlier(another kit)was the surface dull before after sanding and now it is shiny? Did I make a mistake somewhere before?
