Great start! The Chinook will be a big 'un even in 72nd scale. If your camera has an aperture priority mode, try some photos with the aperture locked in at f/8 or f/10. The exposure will be longer (keep the camera steady) but you'll have more of the model in focus at one time.

also, place camera away from the model, some 60cm from the model and as Bill said, use f-stop of at least 8 or 10... check my modelling blog - tutorials for further instructions on improving model photography

you realy think so?? i was just trying to get a cargo look, i added a few more pics the turbin filtters 1 was missing so i made my own have a look if u like, and added some parts of a westland lynx because the exterior was boring me dnt ask why it just did

Well if its new tooling then yes i havent seen the old one but this model is very crisp only if i knew back then what i knew now it would look way better
