I agree Augie, there are plenty of great looking Corsairs that weren't flown by Pappy's boys. Besides, you won't find a -214 paint scheme for the -4 until Korea, and Pappy wasn't with them anymore by then.

I didn't fly them,,,,,,,,I was a "Ramp Roach" for Scooter squadrons. I did get to fly in the backseat a few times, though.
