Had this one a while, finally decided on the boat I was going to do so here it is. First I thought I would start simple, the screw.

3 more progress pics, the size of this thing does not help. So hull together and working on getting it sanded smooth on the joins.

Hi Martin,

thanks, its a fairly easy build and simple enough to paint. need to add third hull colour to break up the top side then sort the sail.

as its scorpion when she went down, markings are minimal as she didn't carry a penant number

This must be some kind of dive bomber? Are you feeling o.k. Augie? 🙂 Must be a bit like that soviet sub plane thing they invented? can't remember what the hell it's called... This thing.

So did this this thing fly o.k. or just sink! weird idea. Can't imagine how you would stop water getting into the engines?

@Don&Glenn - the Wiki says:
"The engines were supposed to be sealed shut by metal plates while under water. The flying submarine was supposed to house six hermetically sealed chambers in its hull and wings: Three chambers to hermetically seal the three aircraft engines (AM-34; 1000 HP; while starting 1200 HP, using the turbo compressor), as well as the hermetically sealed pilot's chamber, a chamber for the accumulator and another one for the electric engine. All the other empty spaces of the aircraft were supposed to be filled with water while submerging."

I was also surprised anybody tried to introduce it 🙂
Nice sub btw., looks GREAT 😉
