I glued the fuselage halves together. I think most of my fit issues came from my own doing, mostly by messing up the resin cockpit by warping it massively at the start. Overall the detail and fit outside of the fuselage fit was quite good, especially the wheel bay which looks great even in plastic.

I attached the wings and filled gaps on the fuselage and wings. I'm almost ready to prime the plane, I just need to finish up some sanding and filling esepcially at the rear. Outside of tricky fit at the rear, there hasn't been any major issues after gluing the fuselage.

The kit is missing I think most of the chassis parts, the entire frame is missing. The rear body panels are also missing, as is the seat and engine. I will try to see if I can get replacements from MFH but since it was bought on ebay I doubt it.

It seems like most of the interior parts had been used by someone in a build, so the remaining parts are mostly the exterior cowlings.

Customer support agreed to send replacements for a fair price, I've heard their customer support was great but I'm glad to see it in action personally.

I got the parts and it seems like I got everything or almost everything replaced, which was basically half the kit. I have nothing but good things to say about MFH support so far.

I've had big issues with this machine gun as I broke the barrel and the machine gun lacks detail including the iron sights for some reason. Looking at pictures it seems like Hotchkiss M 1909 (GasPatch Models 13-32057, 1:32) might work as a replacement, it seems to come with both a clip and a drum.

I had to take a break due to moving house, I can probably start painting the fuselage soon, I just need to mask off the cockpit and engine areas and attach the wings.

This should be my first time doing a proper natural metal finish, I've done a few metal planes but it was a while ago without much effort put into them.

I already painted the body once, but the clear coat went on really badly and I had to strip it all down.

I clear coated the body, it went on pretty well but there's some pieces of dust in the clear coat that I might sand out or leave it as is.

Sadly I didn't take more pictures of the cockpit before I closed it up for painting, I should be ready to start painting the plane now.

I think I'm done, I wanted to add a panel line wash but I haven't done one in a while, and I couldn't get it to stay in most of the panel lines. The kit was mostly good but was overengineered in places and had some issues like requiring the landing gear to be installed before gluing the wings together, I had to modify them to be able to attach them later. I think next time I will do fewer paint layers to get the preshading to show through more, it's very subtle on the end result.
