That is no mistake.. in field this F-1 received the 6-3 conversion kit. Strangely enough the yellow stripes were repainted on the new leading edge but not the insignia.

I got the white off without too much fuss or damage.. over the moon!

Quite happy compared to the original

Good work so far Sid! Cool subject too, wasn't he a son of Lebanese immigrants? May I ask why you have 3 F-86s attached to this project? Multiple builds or do you mix them up to get 1 perfect F-86?

Hi Erik, I had one for years, then ran across the Skyblazers one and after that the Eduard.. with the much improved seat! I would have liked to build an E from the F as well, have the Cutting Edge slats for that.. but then again, so many models, too little time.. so this might be just this one. But far from finished..

I think he is! Died much too young in a tragic car accident with his daughter at the wheel..
