There is only one big difference. Instead of papier-mache I used epoxy resin with cotton flocks, that I usually use for RC models. Cheers Stefan

Christian BruerThx Stefan, but I never ever again use paper mache as a final layer for making water surfaces. It will not work in conjunction with the insulation board I use and start to bend the insulation board when dry. After carving the insulation board I use sanding paper to smooth the surface and wall paper to create the iregular surface.

Holger KranichIn dem Bauzustand bin ich jetzt auch. Allerdings ist mein Rumpf schon lackiert. Benutzt Du nur die Ätzteile aus dem Bausatz oder hast Du noch zusätzlichen Spaß gekauft?

Stefan SchachtHallo Holger, ich will den Zerstörer weitersgehend aus dem Kasten bauen und ggf. mit Plastiksheet etwas verfeinern. Da ich bisher keine Schiffe gebaut habe, will ich hier die Techniken und Reihenfolge üben. Als zusätzlichen Spass habe ich die Figuren von NorthStarModels. Viele Grüße Stefan

Stefan SchachtHallo mates, here is a little update. I painted the area of the bridge, that later be difficult to reach. Then I glued the bridge and used plastic sheet to fill the small gaps. Cheers Stefan
