promising build, nice to see what can be upgraded on this "Level 1" kit😉

A few construction steps further towards a pre-production machine: the colour scheme is admittedly unusual, but there is a good explanation for it 🙂 The model itself is really well detailed for the scale "1:72" and with crisp shapes.

Martin, judging by our stockpiles, a long and happy life awaits us all anyway! 🙂
Feel welcome Thomas!

In building the "Silencer" I am currently at a point where I have to admit to myself that the model still has far too much toy character. I have to think of something to make it more satisfying. Well, we'll see.
As a little encouragement, I have started a maintenance framework that should breathe more life into the model. So far it's really fun 🙂 I'm curious to see what it will look like with paint.

The maintenance rack is ready, I think I will leave it like this for once.

very nice job on that maintenance rack

The rack looks nice, but IMHO it looks not so much as Star Wars, anyway, rule of😎

Thank you Torsten and Spanjaard! I know what you mean and agree, you are certainly right.
I see this maintenance framework as a makeshift, not on the Imperial ships, but rather on improvised plenatar bases. Maybe that will help to get comfortable with the look 🙂

To go with this: the first "exterior shots" of the Tie Silencer are ready. The changing yellow-red colour scheme marks prototypes in testing; here you see one of these machines during repulsor tests and atmospheric flight testing on a dusty desert planet. A little dreaming is allowed, so I hope 🙂

Thank you mates! It is definitely fun to try something different for once. "Episode 3" will follow in any case...
A few non-animated pictures of the finished Tie "Silencer" conclude this project for the time being.

This motivates me to dive straight back into my bunker to get the next Star Wars episode on track! Thank you for this comment!
