Thanks for posting this! I've just starting learning to use fiber optics, and you have already answered a question I had. Looking forward to more!

Nice build report! I am wondering how painting the model with allready installed fibers is handled. Do you airbrush the model and after that cut down the fibers to the correct length?

Stephan, Yes, I plan to paint the model and than cut all fibers to the edge. But it's too far for go) This project takes much more time than expecteed.

I'm waiting and watching with great interest as to how you will clip those optical fibers after the paint job, and the final finish. This is been what I've been trying to achieve. Well done so far, Mate, I am learning from your example..?

Do you have any pictures of clipping the fibers? I've always wondered how people are able to cut them flush with nippers in recessed areas and other close-quarters.

@Starbase101. Unfortunatelly, I don't have any pictures of clipping fibers( I've use nippers and knife with recangular blade to cut fibers. In receesed areas I didn't cut it totally, only part wich I can get wih nippers. It's not a big problem (for me). Small parts of fibers is inside recesses and they are not striking.

Congratulations on a job well done, but the final presentation image leaves much to be desired..
