Eduard F-4J Rhino

I did put the canopy on the plane with a very small amount of glue. My idea is to be able to take out once the plane has been primed and painted in case I decide to add the aftermarket resin kit I have. So far it has been very difficult to add it, so I've decided to move on, and have some fun. 

Dry fitting for one last time, just to make sure I haven't messed something up. 

Started masking the canopy... These Eduard masks are different from what I used before. 

Masking is done! Ready to start painting... finally! 

I've painted first interior color. I could have chosen to use interior gray, but I've decided to go all the way with flat black from Tamiya. 

So pre shadowing is ready, I used Ammo Gunship gray for it. Gray paint is also Ammo (FS26231). I've decided to use Ammo (Matt white) as well (instead of Tamiya XF-2) for the nose. I've got a bit of orange skin on the nose, I will correct that tomorrow. 

It's starting to look like an F-4J 🙂 

I'm thinking to redo the white on the wings... I didn't realize the amount of paint I airbrushed, and I've lost a lot of detail (panel lines and rivets)... and I thought this will be a short build! 😄
